News Story

Can you believe I was working
during Spring Break?!

A big Thank You goes to reporter Molly Balkenbush of NBC29 in Charlottesville for this nice story on my participation on Teachers for Global Classrooms!

Yes, my students have asked what they serve in McDonald's in Kazakhstan. I think Kazakhstan happens to be one of the few remaining countries without a McDonald's though!

We'll find out soon . . .

  2. That is good because it helps fight obesity. People eat to much junk food.

    1. Nick, Colson & Anonymous,
I have seen KFC, Hardee's, and Burger King here. I have also seen something called McBurger which is like an imitation McDonald's. I have also seen something called McDoner which sells fast-food doner kebabs (these are Turkish kebabs). I didn't go inside the American fast-food restaurants, but they looked pretty identical to ours.
